St. George’s Community Garden goal is to promote community gardening, locally grown healthy produce, appreciation of nature and the outdoors, information sharing and community camaraderie. All gardeners are encouraged to donate a portion of their produce to individuals and organizations in the community that are interested in such donations. The Garden is open to any interested individual, family or group on a space available basis. For information please call St. George’s office at 487-5600 Or e-mail Deacon Bob Olsen email@example.com.
2013 is our fifth year of gardening and have expanded to 38 plots, including two for a home school group of children who are using one plot to grow native plants and the other for vegetables as part of their science classes.
